CMS Made Simple plugins

CMS Made Simple (CMSMS) is an open source project supported by a community of plugin developers. This article lists some of the most popular plugins currently available.

Autometa – Automatically creates meta tag keywords and descriptions if they’re not already in the metadata field. Keywords are retrieved from the Search module and the description is generated from the beginning of the page content.

Content toggle – Uses JQuery to make content expandable and collapsible. The toggle bar is styled with CSS.

Facebook Like button – Allows users to share your content on Facebook by inserting it in the user’s friends’ newsfeed with a link back to your website.

Facebook Share dialog – Adds a Facebook share dialog on your site so users can share links in their timelines, groups, or Facebook Messages.

Pinterest Share dialog – Adds a Pinterest button or widget, inviting people to pin content from your website.

Favicon – Generates <link> tags to include favicons in your page. It generates an .ico file and several png files in different sizes.

File listing – Automatically displays a list of uploaded files or folders on the front-end. Sorts by file name, size, and date and displays icons based on file type.

List downloads – Creates a table of all files in the directory including file names, sizes, and modify times. It can also display a column with a simple download counter.

Page protect – Allows you to protect a page with one or more passwords. It can also be used in templates to protect pages using those templates.

Recently added – Displays a list of the most recently added website pages.

Secure file – Obfuscates a link to a file to protect from unauthorized download. Must be used with the FrontendUsers module.

Simple form – Displays a simple contact form including name, email, subject, and message fields. This plugin includes anti-spam features and supports captcha.
